Os plasticine present their first album, in world premiere, in Loulé, on the next 28th of September, Saturday, at 21 pm, at the Auditorium of Solar da Música Nova, in Loulé.
The concert takes place within the scope of the program cycle “Ilustres Unknowns” promoted by the Cine-Teatro Louletano, which aims to enhance and promote emerging musical projects and/or little known to the general public (from the Algarve or not).
The band is a project with about a year and a half, which has the participation of several musicians from the Algarve. Its sound denotes several influences, and elements of jazz, funk, soul, rock, afro-beat, among others, which combine a rhythmic and harmonic diversity with melodies that easily infect the audience.
His performances are guided by the creation of different musical environments and well-marked dynamics.
Live, the formation has a minimum of eight musicians and the name of the project (Plasticine) is itself a reflection of the band's concept, that is, a formation that allows itself to be flexible and where the rotation of musicians is itself a characteristic of the group, allowing each one to give their personal stamp and emotion to the interpretation of the themes, thus making each concert unique.
Plasticine debuted on March 30 of last year, at Clube Artístico Lacobrigense. Since then, they have had several performances, namely in Re-Criativa, in Olhão, MAR Festival, in Lagos, and LAC, also in Lagos.
Last March, they won the band competition organized by Marginália Bar, in Portimão. In the same month, they finished recording their first album, which is now presented in Loulé.
Beto Kalulu (percussions), Bruno Vítor (drums and double bass), Diana Silveira (vocals), Gustavo Gonçalves (drums), Ivo Martins (drums), João Barbosa (trumpet), João Faísca (guitars, keyboards and vocals), Josué Gomes (drums), Luís Leal (keyboards), Nicole Silver (vocals), Paulo Ribeiro (keyboards), Pedro Barroso (guitars, bass and slide guitar), Pedro Glória (percussions and drums), Pedro Guerreiro (bass), Ray Van D (vocals), Ricardo Lopes (trombone), Ricardo Pires (saxophone), Taly Minkov (vocals), Tércio Nanook (vocals) and Wesley Seme ( voice and keyboards) are the names of artists who have been part of the band plasticine.
This show lasts 90 minutes, is intended for people over 12 years old and the ticket costs 5 euros, with no discounts applicable, and the room has limited capacity.
