Festival aims to showcase emerging progressive rock bands

Four emerging progressive rock bands will perform in the backyard of the Parish Council of Monchique, on the 24th, from 17 pm, in another edition of the event “Bandas no Quintal”.

The initiative of Associação Cultural Postigo, which aims to make known the new values ​​of this musical trend, also includes the performance of “A Boy Named Sue”, at Barlefante, at 00:00.

“J'Aime Sessions”, “Ligadura”, “Decibélicas” and “The Smoggers” will perform in the backyard of the Parish Council. For the first time, a band from Seville will be present, "which transforms this event into a transnational performance", say the organizers.

Before another edition of “Bandas no Quintal”, the association Postigo will promote, tomorrow, at Al-faris, in Alferce, at 23 pm, a warm up of bands, with “Pink Pussy Cats from Hell” and the “Postigo Selecta Sessions”.
