PS/Algarve guarantees that health is "top priority in the next legislature"

Legislatures are scheduled for October 6th

"Health issues are a top priority for socialists in the Algarve in the next legislature." The words are from Jamila Madeira, head of the PS list, for the Algarve, at the end of a series of visits and work meetings, this Wednesday, 21 August, in São Brás de Alportel and Faro.

Throughout the morning, candidates for deputy by the Socialist Party, led by Jamila Madeira, visited the Center for Medicine and Rehabilitation of the South, in São Brás de Alportel, and met with the boards of directors of the University Hospital Center of the Algarve and the Administration Regional Health Center of the Algarve.

The objective was to evaluate “the evolution of the provision of services to populations during this legislature, listening to the concerns of its leaders and professionals and reaffirming the PS's priority to health issues in the region and the country, enshrined in the Electoral Program and in the new Law of Health Bases», already promulgated by Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

Jamila Madeira, moreover, was even, during the legislature, the coordinator of the PS bench for the area of ​​health, assuming a leading role in this issue of the new Basic Law.
