The Seafood Festival in Olhão, which took place from the 9th to the 14th of August, was «the best of the last 15 years».

«After more than three decades of Seafood Festival, we understood that it was time to give it a new lease of life and a new dynamic», referred the mayor, at the closing of the event, assuring that «this was a winning bet».
“This year we had a younger festival, with a new look, but which has not lost sight of its two fundamental pillars: the best gastronomy and a luxury musical list”, he adds.
At the 34th edition, the Seafood Festival in Olhão once again showed why it has become the most important gastronomic event in the South of the country. and once again he took crowds to Jardim Pescador Olhanense and set records for the sale of starters and shellfish and shellfish.
The event featured several innovations, including aerial entertainment, which opened each night of the event and captivated those present, and the performances of DJs Christian F and Wilson Honrado, on the first and last days, respectively, after the main concert.
This year, Matias Damásio, HMB, Killer Queen, Paula Fernandes, Ludmilla and Resistencia passed by this year, attracting thousands of people from the Algarve and tourists to the Cubist city.
The tens of thousands of visitors who visited Jardim Pescador Olhanense were joined by well-known figures from the general public, such as the football player Neymar Jr., or Dolores Aveiro, mother of Cristiano Ronaldo.
