The August Beer Fest will liven up the historic center of Portimão, on the 16th and 17th of August.
During these two days, Rua Senhora da Tocha will be closed to traffic, from 18 pm, and handicrafts, live music and entertainment will take over the space.
The food and drinks will be in charge of two emblematic establishments in the city center — Casa da Tocha and the Tipóia Restaurant — and the event will have the support of Erdinger Beer (official sponsor of the event) under the ARU (Urban Rehabilitation Area) ).
The snacks served will be inspired by the tradition of traditional beer parties, with a Portuguese touch, as it should be.
In music, the party will feature the presence of the Southkick Band, the duo Us 2 and the Rancho Folclórico da Figueira, among others who want to join the party.
The artisans will present proposals in the area of ceramics, textiles, and even gastronomy, such as the acclaimed Doce Fino. Algarvian wines Paxá and Malacca will also be present at this event.
