Light wind canceled regattas at the World Sailing Championship

Tomorrow is the last day of competition

This Wednesday, July 10th, the lack of wind canceled what would be the second day of the finals of the 420 Sailing World Championship, which takes place in Vilamoura.

“We had four perfect days and a not-so-good day today, but I'm sure tomorrow will be a final day with excellent conditions. There will be a rising wind, coming from the southeast, and we will certainly finish off the races in an excellent way, with a total of 11 instead of 12», said Nino Schmueli, president of the 420 international class.

The final races – in the Open, Women's and Under 17 categories – will take place this Thursday, 11 July. The Algarve's Luis Niza and Paulo Baptista are in 4th place in their class.
