The cinema has been showing itself outdoors in various parts of Silves since June and will still go to São Marcos da Serra and the county seat, on Friday, 26th, and 2nd of August, respectively.
These are the last two sessions of the cycle of “Cinema ao Ar Livre”, which is being organized by the Municipality of Silves (CMS) and by the Cineclube de Faro and it has already passed, since June, in almost all the parishes of this municipality.
On Friday, the film “Menina” will be screened at the multipurpose space in São Marcos da Serra. The cycle ends with the projection of the work “São Jorge”, in the Largo Conselheiro Magalhães Barros, in Silves, on 2 August.
The objective of this initiative «is to bring cinema to the population of the interior parishes, taking advantage of the summer period, bringing families to the streets, as well as bringing friends and neighbors together to enjoy», according to the Municipality of Silves.
