The exhibition “A Marchar para das Trencheiras – Rerembrar 1914-1918” is on display until 31 July, at Galeria de Santo António, in Monchique.

Also on display are postcards from before and after the war in the city of D'Arras, individual bulletins of some Monchiquenses who fought and a list of all soldiers belonging to the municipality of Monchique who were deployed to combat, according to the Military Historical Archive.

The exhibition is open on weekdays, from 11:00 am to 13:00 pm and from 15:00 pm to 16:30 pm.

The organization is in charge of the Cultural Dynamization Group “O Monchiqueiro” and has the support of the Municipality of Monchique, the Parish Council of Monchique and the Municipality and Historical Archive of Albufeira.
