Alliance attacks PAN: dogs on beaches is "unreasonable" idea

The idea of the PAN is to name, for the time being, at least two beaches in the region of Sotavento and Barlavento of the Algarve that allow dogs to be taken

An idea “unreasonable, when there are so many urgent problems to solve”. This is how Aliança/Algarve reacts to PAN's intention to allow dogs to also frequent Algarve beaches.

In a statement, Aliança says that, "despite all the respect it has for the animals, it cannot but consider such a pretense unreasonable."

For the political party, "there are so many urgent problems to solve, in relation to beaches, such as combating pollution and preserving the coastline."

The Alliance goes even further and promises to present, yes, "concrete measures to defend the interests of the region".

In the same statement, the political party, led by Pedro Santana Lopes, said that the list for the Legislative Elections, by the constituency of Faro headed by Telmo Martins, should be presented next week.

“It will be a list made up of women and men from the region, who for the most part have never had any connection to politics,” says Telmo Martins.
