A man, of foreign nationality, suspected of drug trafficking, was arrested this week by the Foreigners and Borders Service, in Portimão.
The individual was wanted by the Spanish authorities to serve a prison sentence.
The 40-year-old citizen was present at the Court of Appeal in Évora, which ordered his collection from the Beja Prison, awaiting the proceedings of the extradition process.
