The Serra de Monchique/HPA Saúde Trail will be held on May 25th. The competition, this year, will be certified and will count towards the Cup of Portugal ATRP – Trail Running Association of Portugal.
In the second edition of this initiative, organized by Clube Desportivo e Cultural da Nave, it will be presented on Saturday, at 16 pm, at the Hotel Monchique Resort & SPA, in Montinho, Caldas de Monchique.
The session will be attended by representatives of the organizing club and the main sponsor, the HPA Saúde group, as well as Custódio Moreno, regional director of the IPDJ, Jorge Santos, president of the Algarve Athletics Association, and Rui André, president of the Chamber Municipality of Monchique.
For now, and before the presentation, it is already known that the event will feature three tests of trail running and a solidary walk. On the competitive side there will be the ultra (48 km), long (28 km) and short (18 km) sides. The solidarity walk will have a length of 10 kilometers.
