the strand good gourmet food of the 3rd edition of the Algarve Jazz Gourmet Moments Festival kicked off this Saturday, the 11th, in 17 restaurants in Lagos. And it continues this Sunday, always with the Smooth Jazz Gourmet Sessions to follow.
The event's Parceiros Gourmet restaurants prepared a Jazz Gourmet Menu, at special prices, between 25 and 59,90 euros, to celebrate jazz and the unique gastronomy of the Algarve.
And to accompany them, there's nothing like trying the Algarve wines that harmonize these menus, specially designed by the partners for the event, and which are only available from the 11th to the 26th of May.
This is an excellent opportunity to try a different restaurant and get to know the gastronomic offer of Lagos. And, why not, do it taking advantage of the Smooth Jazz Gourmet Sessions, where you can calmly enjoy an excellent meal to the sound of Live Jazz.
These Smooth Jazz Gourmet Sessions took place yesterday at the Alma Lusa and Boavista Golf & Spa Resort restaurants, and will take place this Sunday, May 12, at the Calhou and Lagos Avenida restaurants. The sessions will follow at A Petisqueira (May 13th), Senses Restaurant, Cascade Resort (14th), Signature and Páteo Velho at Tivoli Lagos (15th), Tasca Jota and Mar d'Estórias (16th), Sal & Companhia and Vila Valverde (on the 17th), in the Vila Galé and Onyria Palmares restaurants (on the 18th), Levante Restaurant at the Belmar and Campimar hotel (on the 19th) and finally in Cantinho Algarvio (on the 21st).
Among the food to taste there will be, for example, “Mackerel Ceviche, Algarve citrus, Aljezur Sweet Potato”, “Cherry Chicken Breast, Monchique Chorizo, Garlic Porro and Fried Potato”, “Octopus Cataplana and Sweet Potato from Aljezur", "Melon and pennyroyal gazpacho flute" or dishes with names mysterious, such as ""Duck in the lake peeking at the beehive" and also "Sea e Terra à barrocal in the Algarve".

The jazz festival itself, will run from the 24th to the 26th of May, taking to the Centro Cultural de Lagos big names from the international scene of this musical style: Benny Goldson, Peter Cincotti and Ed Motta.
This event is part of the program 365Algarve, being supported by Turismo de Portugal, Turismo do Algarve and the Municipality of Lagos. The production is in charge of the Algarve Jazz Orchestra, under the artistic direction of Hugo Alves.
