Burnt windows, broken glass and a trail of destruction inside, visible at the entrance. This was the result of fire, which occurred in the early evening this Monday, May 6th, in a vacant house in the center of Faro.
The fire, which originated on the roof, took place in a house that was the home and office of a well-known lawyer from Faro, Dr. Sousa Uva.
The house had a garden, which was damaged, but the façade managed to be saved. The fire it ended up being extinguished close to an hour and a half after the alert.
Today, with daylight, there were many people who, when passing Rua Reitor Teixeira Guedes, stopped to see the damage caused to the house. There were also PSP agents who made a security perimeter at the site.
