FEITUR – Sports and Nature Tourism Fair takes place from the 7th to the 9th of June, in Vila Nova de Milfontes (Odemira).
This is an event that aims to promote Odemira and Alentejo as privileged destinations for active tourism. The event is promoted in partnership between the Municipality of Odemira and the Regional Tourism Entity of Alentejo and Ribatejo and takes place at the mouth of the river Mira, at Praia da Franquia, with free admission.
FEITUR is committed to strengthening the promotion of the most emblematic tourist products in the municipality of Odemira and the territory, highlighting nature activities.
Over the three days, FEITUR visitors can experience the territory up close and participate in activities such as boat trips, Stand up paddle and canoeing on the river Mira, surfing lessons, taking part in hiking and mountain biking or horse riding.
At the event's grounds, the program offers horse-drawn carriage, donkey and pony rides, sports activities such as volleyball, footvolley, Jiu Jitsu and zumba, as well as a children's entertainment area with inflatables and trampolines.
The event includes presentations by accommodation units and tourist entertainment companies, an exhibition of agri-food products and an exhibition of local handicrafts. In the gastronomic field, the local products deserve to be highlighted, both in tastings and showcookings, as in the present restoration.
