The Alcoutim Health Center will now provide oral health consultations. The alcouteneja Chamber signed today a collaboration protocol with the Algarve Regional Health Administration for the installation of a dental office in this health unit.
Under the agreement signed this Friday, ARS Algarve is responsible for «performing the necessary works in the space dedicated to dental consultations at the Alcoutim Health Centre, guaranteeing the human resources necessary to carry out the consultations and guaranteeing adequate training. human resources allocated to the provision of consultations'.
Alcoutim City Council, for its part, will provide a sum of 24.600 euros for the purchase of clinical equipment for the oral health room at the Alcoutim Health Center.
The protocol will be in force for an initial period of three years.
The establishment of this partnership with the Algarve Regional Health Administration «will contribute to the promotion of an effective policy to combat territorial and social asymmetries», concluded the Chamber of Alcoutim.
