Nominations for the Football for All award are almost over

Results are known on July 1st.

The application period for the Football for All award, which aims to support projects created by non-profit institutions whose premise is the practice of this sport as a vehicle for combating discrimination, ends on May 31st.

This is an award that also wants to support institutions that use football as a vehicle to promote the social integration of children, young people, adults and people with any type of disability.

This is the second edition of the Football for All Award, an initiative under the UEFA HatTrick FSR programme, “the aim of which is to involve civil society in such pressing issues as combating discrimination and promoting social inclusion”, says the Association of Algarve Football.

The amount awarded under the Prize (50 thousand euros) takes the form of a donation, which can be divided into several projects or attributed to only one, but all candidate projects must have the premise that each individual is unique, as well as the rejection of all forms of discrimination based on race, age, gender, religion, sexual orientation, culture and nationality.
