Good practices in the use of ICT in learning Geography and Chemistry

Main objective is the sharing of good practices in the use of new technologies in the natural sciences disciplines.

The students Carolina Descultu, Diana Necker and Mariana Faísca, from the Loulé Secondary School, are, between April 29 and May 3, in Stare Mesto, in the Czech Republic, for the last meeting to share good practices within the scope of Erasmus+ project Digital Teaching in Natural Scientific Subjects.

The project, whose main objective is to share good practices in the use of new technologies in natural science subjects, allowed students and teachers to learn about applications and other computer resources for learning different subjects in each of the participating countries.

In Italy, generic ICT tools were explored and their potential in teaching was addressed, in Romania, computer resources for Biology, in Sweden, for Physics, in Portugal, for Geography and, in the Czech Republic, for Chemistry.

As part of the project, students from professional computer courses from different countries also developed some educational applications for Android mobile devices and shared them with different partners.

This last meeting will also allow for an assessment of the project, finalizing the intellectual products produced and preparing the final report.

The group of Loulé students was accompanied by professors Ana Margarida Maria, Duarte Duarte, Maria Fernanda Martins and Paulo Ribeiro.

All trips were financed by the national Erasmus+ agencies of the respective countries.
