Moncarapachense remains firmly in the lead

Esperança de Lagos slipped against Almancilense

Moncarapachense beat Imortal 2-0, in a game of the 4th round of the I Division ascent phase of the Algarve district football championship, played this Saturday, March 30. The team from the municipality of Olhão is increasingly leading.

Bruno Saraiva's men benefited from the slip of Esperança de Lagos, who drew 2-2 against Almancilense, to increase the gap to the second-placed team.

In the other game of the climb phase, 11 Esperanças beat Quarteira 2-1 and jumped to 3rd place.

As for the descent phase, Guia drew with Lagoa (1-1), while Lusitano from Vila Real de Santo António went to Messinense to win 2-4.

Silves left due to the withdrawal of Quarteiense SAD.
