Clothes thieves caught in the act at Mar Shopping

In total, 249 pieces of clothing were seized, valued at around 4800 euros

Two women, aged 61 and 69, and a man, aged 24, were caught this Thursday, April 4th, in the act, stealing items from a store at Mar Shopping, in Loulé. 

"After alerting on a possible situation of theft of clothing items in some stores in a commercial area, the military immediately went to the scene and detained the three suspects," says the GNR.

The vehicle used for transport was also located. The vehicle had, inside, several articles of clothing with evidence of having been stolen elsewhere in the Algarve.

This action resulted in the seizure of 249 items of clothing, valued at around 4800 euros, 687 euros, material used to disable and remove alarms on garments and three mobile phones.

The suspects, with criminal records for the crimes of theft and fraud, will be present this Friday, April 5, at the Judicial Court of Loulé.
