The 2019 edition of DiVaM was launched on Saturday, April 13, at Castelo de Aljezur, with the signing of protocols between the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve and the 23 associations participating in this program to promote and enhance the Algarve's monuments.
In all, there will be 52 activities, taking place from April to December (with interruption in the summer), at the Fortress of Sagres, Hermitage of Guadalupe, Castles of Aljezur, Paderne and Loulé, Megalithic Monuments of Alcalar and Roman Ruins of Milreu.
O Sul Informação spoke with Adriana Freire Nogueira, regional director of Culture, who revealed the news for this year's edition: more money, more cultural agents involved and more activities in the debut.
After the signed protocols, DiVaM started with the performance of XelbInSax Quartet, by Artis XXI, in Aljezur Castle.
