Portimonense was fined 765 euros by the Portuguese Football Federation, due to the cut made in the pitch for the reception of FC Porto. In this game, the algarvian team lost 0-3.

The lawn had a cut with "circumferential" lines and, according to the punishment map, "when the field director was asked why, he did not provide any justification."

Before the start of the game, the emblems of Portimonense and FC Porto had also been “drawn” in the center of the pitch. However, Fábio Veríssimo, referee of the match, asked that they be deleted.

This is the second time that Portimonense has been fined for this reason. In October, at Sporting's reception, a “creative” grass cut also earned the Algarve a fine.
