The Employment Support Tour promotes, this Friday, March 22, at 15 pm, a session dedicated to young students, at Start Work IV fair, in Portimão.
This morning, from 10:30 am, there was also a session dedicated to businessmen in the hotel sector.
In both initiatives, the idea is to present solutions to improve employability, through professional training, internships or international volunteering experience, suggestions to increase the probability of a successful application and ways to access almost 1,5 million vacancies available at European level.
Also in the morning, a presentation is scheduled, at 11:30 am, by Rita Soares, from the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission, on aspects of the construction of the Social Pillar of Europe.
This is followed by an open debate on social rights in Europe, an opportunity to ask questions, give and hear opinions, understanding how all European policies affect us.
The initiative is from the Center Europe Direct Algarve in the context of the information campaign on the 2019 European Elections.
The Employment Support Tour has been taking place since 2013 as an initiative of the European Commission Representation in Portugal, through the Europe Direct information centers network in partnership with the Employment and Vocational Training Institute.
