Six schools in the Algarve recognized with the eTwinning Seal 2019-2020

Of the 1004 schools awarded throughout Europe, 59 are Portuguese schools and groups, six of which are in the Algarve region.

Six schools in the Algarve have just been recognized with the eTwinning School Label 2019-2020.

Of the 1004 schools awarded throughout Europe, 59 are Portuguese schools and groups, six of which in the Algarve region.

These are the Dr. Alberto Iria and Professor Paula Nogueira groupings, both in Olhão, the Eng. Duarte Pacheco grouping and the Loulé Secondary School, in Loulé, and also the Gil Eanes grouping, from Lagos, and the Bemposta grouping , from Portimão.

O eTwinning School Seal rewards schools and clusters that have excelled in digital and eSafety practices, innovative and creative pedagogical approaches, promoting teachers' continuing professional development, and promoting collaborative learning practices between teachers and students.

This recognition is valid for two years.

The Municipality of Olhão has already congratulated «all the teachers who transform the council's schools into reference learning spaces at European level».
