Secretary of State for Youth and Sport makes a tour of the Algarve

João Paulo Rebelo, Secretary of State for Youth and Sports, will tour the Algarve this Thursday and Friday for visits within the scope of the Sports Facilities Rehabilitation Program (PRID):

This Thursday, the government official will visit the Casa do Povo of S. Bartolomeu de Messines (11:00), the Tennis and Padel Club of São Brás de Alportel (15:00), and Blasius – Association for the Development of Two Wheel Sports ( 16:00), also in São Brás De Alportel, the Clube Desportivo de Montenegro (17:15) and the Associação Portuguesa de Kempo (18:30), both in Faro.

On Friday, João Paulo Rebelo will go to Clube Desportivo Areias de São João (11:30), in Albufeira, to Associação Cultural e Desportiva Che Lagoense (15:00 pm), in Parchal, and to Associação Escola de Boxe de Portimão (16:00 pm).

The secretary of State will also participate, on Friday, at 10:00 am, in a program around the theme “Dating with Fair Play”, at the Regional Directorate of the IPDJ, in Faro.

After the presentation of “The Boy in the Green Backpack”, which portrays episodes from the life of a girl victim of dating violence, there will be a debate.

At 12:30 pm, the government official will visit UAARE de Lagoa, at the Padre António Martins de Oliveira Secondary School and, at 16:45 pm, will attend the National Meeting of Sports Training Centers (CFD) for Surf, taking place at Praia da Rocha, in Portimão , within the scope of the European City of Sport 2019 commemorations.
