Moncarapachense remains leader with victory in Faro

There were no changes in the league table

Moncarapachense won 11 Esperanças by 0-1, in Faro, in a game of the 3rd round of the ascent phase of the I Division of the Algarve District Football Championship, played this Saturday, March 23. The team from the municipality of Olhão remains in the lead. 

With the defeat, 11 Esperanças, who was fighting for the climb, is already 6 points behind the lead and sees the chance of reaching 1st place become more difficult.

In the remaining games, the candidates did not hesitate. Imortal thrashed Almancilense (5-0) and Esperança de Lagos won, without difficulties, Quarteira 3-0.

In the descent phase, there was a municipal derby, with Silves beating Messinense (4-2). Lagoa went to Lusitano de Vila Real de Santo António to win 1-2.

The Guide left due to the premature withdrawal of Quarteirense SAD.
