A worker died this Thursday in an accident at the Aljustrel mine, in the district of Beja. The victim was identified as Nuno Pinto, a native of Penafiel. I was 35 years old.
The accident occurred at 14:23 pm, when Nuno Pinto was working to supply a water tank and was caught by a machine. Help was quick, but Nuno, a native of Milhundos, Penafiel, died on the spot.
