Francisco Serra talks about the importance of community funds for the Algarve

Francisco Serra, president of the Algarve's Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR), will speak, this Thursday, March 28, at 21 pm, in the Museum's Auditorium. Faro, on the importance of European Union funds for the region's development.

This session takes place at the invitation of the Círculo Cultural do Algarve.

In his lecture, Francisco Serra will address the Algarve's relationship with community funds and its contribution to the sustainable development of the region, within the framework of the implementation of Portugal 2020 and the debate on the 2030 Agenda.

Francisco Serra holds a PhD in Economics and Business and is a coordinating professor at the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism at the University of Algarve.

He has been the president of CCDR Algarve and Euroregion Alentejo – Algarve – Andalucía and manager of the Regional Operational Program CRESC Algarve 2020, since June 2016.
