Festival F won the award for best Lusophone and Hispanic festival (Best Lusophone and Hispanic Festival) and Festival MED was distinguished with the award for the greatest contribution to sustainability (Contribution to Sustainability), at the Iberian Festival Awards, which were delivered. Wednesday, March 13, in Vigo, Spain.
Festival F was also a finalist in the categories of Best Major Festival and Best Cultural Program.
On the other hand, the MED Festival, in addition to the category in which it won, was nominated for the “Best Touristic Promotion” category.
Two more Algarve festivals were nominated for awards, but failed to win: the BPM Festival, which was in the finalists for “Best Infrastructure”, and Fatacil, which was nominated for the Best Festivity award. a debut category this year.
The Iberian Festival Awards aim to distinguish the best festivals that take place in Portugal and Spain.
