The XIII edition of the Feira do Porco Alentejano starts this Friday, March 22, in Ourique.
This is an event that will provide «a wide range of gastronomic, leisure, knowledge of the Rural World, as well as technical events aimed at the breeders of the Alentejo pig breed», says the Câmara de Ourique.
«There will be three days of affirmation of the rural world, its traditional products and the knowledge and flavors that characterize Ourique and Baixo Alentejo, reasons that have mobilized thousands of visitors to say they are present at one of the most important regional events, with growing national and international projection».
The 2019 edition will have as Municipality invited the Municipality of Monchique, in an event that, for the first time, has the presence of the Parma region in Italy, to promote Parma ham.
The program integrates, once again, an important technical component, in a reflection on “O Porco eo Montado do Alentejo” which will take place on Friday, March 22, at the Centro de Convívio de Ourique.
The musical entertainment starts, on the first day, with Rui Soares & Lau (21:30 pm and 00:30 am) and Blaya (23:00 pm).
On Friday, March 22, the Venga Boys (21:30 pm), Virgul (23:00 pm), Fábio Lagarto (00:30 am) and DJ Mel (2:30 am) will take to the stage.
On Sunday, the 24th, the performance of Sonido Andaluz is scheduled, at 18:30 pm. The program “Somos Portugal”, by TVI, will be live in the country from 14:00 on Sunday.
