Even so, the signatories of the communiqué acknowledge that "there will be some limitations on the use of the runway, only during the period in which the lawn works are carried out".
Thus, 'as a guarantee of compliance with the provisions of this joint notice, the plan and schedule of the greening work will have to be approved by the Municipal Council of Faro, which will previously hear interested parties, namely the Algarve Athletics Association».
In the document sent to the newsrooms, it is highlighted that the agreement between the municipality and Farense was celebrated «with the well-being and comfort for training and competition in mind». However, “the municipality manages this infrastructure in favor of the entire sports community, which is made up of individual practitioners or organized in clubs and sports associations. The two entities conclude their joint communication ensuring that the track will also continue to be available, «as it is today, for the hundreds of individual practitioners who no longer do without this sporting space for their daily training».
