The civil service will have point tolerance on Carnival Tuesday, March 5th.
According to Antena 1, the order, which grants point tolerance to workers in public functions, in the services of the State's direct administration and in public institutes, has already been signed by Prime Minister António Costa
The official, quoted by public radio, explains that "although Carnival Tuesday is not on the list of mandatory holidays stipulated by law, there is in Portugal a consolidated tradition of organizing parties during this period."
