Border with a three-day carnival party

Sociedade Recreativa Bordeirense will promote dances and a parade through the streets of this village in the municipality of Faro

The village of Bordeira, in Faro, will be celebrating at Carnival. The Sociedade Recreativa Bordeirense (SRB) is once again organizing an entertainment program to mark this festive season, with balls and a parade, on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of March.

On the 2nd, a Saturday, there will be a masked ball, which will be animated by the duo “Tons de Baile”.

The traditional Carnival parade, with free entry, takes place on Sunday, March 3, between 15:00 and 17:30, in the streets of Bordeira.

After the corso, the revelry continues at the D. Leonor Activity Center, with a concert by the band “Boca Doce”, originally from Cascais, which promises to present “daring creations, offering the public an excellent sense of humor and creativity surrounded by the most diverse versions of Portuguese classics, as never seen before», according to SRB.

The party doesn't end here and will continue into the night with a masked ball animated by Cristiano Martins.

«For those who don't want to miss a bit of this revelry, in addition to free entry into its outdoor area, the SRB management also has a dinner service», adds the Bordeirense association.

The following day, Monday, there is a new dance, this time by the duo Nestor and Nuno, at the D. Leonor Activity Centre, also with dinner service and free entrance.
