Nature Tourism Biennial opened with a lot of debate and a visit by the secretary of state

The event continues today and tomorrow, with exhibition, knowledge, gastronomy and music workshops

The Nature Tourism Biennial, which runs until tomorrow, Sunday, the 24th, at the Espaço Multiusos in Aljezur, opened this Friday, with a program full of conferences on topics related to Sustainability and the certification of activities.

At the end of the afternoon, the official opening session of the event took place, by the Secretary of State for Forests and Rural Development, followed by a tasting of Algarvian food, in which oysters from the Ria de Alvor stood out. At the end of the first day, the Moçoilas took to the stage.

A performance by the Banda Filarmónica dos Bombeiros Voluntários de Aljezur, at 17:30 pm, and by the Trio de Nelson Conceição, with accordion, guitar and fado, at 21:00 pm, are the highlights of this Saturday, the 23rd, of the animation in the space of Arraial da Identidade da Nature Tourism Biennial (BTN'19), running until tomorrow, in Aljezur.

On Sunday, the 24th, at 16:30 pm, the Odiáxere Folklore and Ethnographic Ranch will perform, as well as, at 20:00 pm, the young accordionist Francisco Monteiro.

The Nature Tourism Biennial is organized by Vicentina – Association for the Development of the Southwest, and will bring together, for three days, tourism professionals, entrepreneurs, decision makers, certifying entities and researchers from the sector. BTN aims to launch Sustainability as a point of reflection for the development of the territory in the coming years.
