The V Karate Tournament in the municipality of Alcoutim will take place on the 9th of February, at 9:30 am, at the José Rosa Pereira Municipal Sports Pavilion, in Martim Longo.
In the competition, which included Kata (a set of attack and defense movements) and Kumite (fight, combat), competitions, some of the best athletes in the sport will participate, and among athletes, coaches and companions, an influx of more than 650 people.
«Since sport is a means of publicizing and promoting clubs and regions, it is extremely important to support this type of event in order to promote the name of the club and the municipality», says Osvaldo Gonçalves, president of the Chamber of Alcoutim.
The event, organized by the Alcoutim and Martim Longo Karate Club, has the support of the Municipality of Alcoutim, the Parish Council of Martim Longo and the Liga de Karaté do Sul.
