«Torre, wall and world» is the title of the exhibition by Tiago Batista, plastic artist, researcher and professor at the Degree in Visual Arts at the University of Algarve, which opens on the 24th of January, at Galeria Trem, in Faro.
The artist, one of those responsible for the creation and dynamization of the 289 Association, in Faro, takes to Galeria Trem an exhibition of works entitled «Tower, Wall and the World», which reflects on the issues of drawing that have come to light in his artistic career.
According to Pedro Cabral Santo, director of the Degree in Visual Arts and supervisor of Tiago Batista's PhD project in Communication, Culture and Arts, this is an exhibition «unmistakably associated with his doctoral thesis One Machine, One Thousand Designs».
The inauguration, scheduled for 18:30 pm, will feature the presence of the artist who will guide the public through his work.
The show can be seen until the 28th of March, from Tuesday to Friday, from 11:30 am to 18:00 pm, and on Saturdays, from 10:30 am to 17:00 pm.
This is another exhibition within the scope of the Visual Arts Course at the University of Algarve for Galeria Trem, with the support of CIAC, FCT and the City Council/Municipal Museum of Faro.
