Applications for the 4th edition of Entrepreneurial Spirit Award, promoted by the Municipality of Odemira, are open until April 30th.
The idea of the award is to «stimulate and recognize entrepreneurial and creative initiatives, within the scope of Odemira Empreende – Municipal Entrepreneurship and Employment Program».
«Aiming to contribute to the economic development of the municipality, the Espírito Empreendedor Award seeks to enhance public recognition, dignification, appreciation and prestige of business activity, and at the same time create an important award in strengthening self-confidence, self-esteem and in the motivation for new projects and new challenges», explains the Chamber of Odemira.
All young people aged between 18 and 35 can participate, with proposals for entrepreneurial and creative ideas, as well as new business initiatives based in the municipality of Odemira, created less than three years ago.
Prizes will be awarded to the best entrepreneurial and creative idea and to the three best classified among the applications for new business initiatives.
The best entrepreneurial and creative idea will be awarded the value of 2 thousand euros, as well as the possibility of direct access to the Nest of Companies of Odemira (conditioned on the maturity of the idea, the existence of a promoter to implement the initiative and the immediate availability of facilities ).
The three best new business initiatives will be awarded the values of 2000, 1000 and 500 euros, respectively.
Applications must be submitted by filling out a form, available at the Entrepreneur Support Office, Balcão Único and at Municipality website.
