Luis Villas-Boas, father of Emergency Children and Refúgio Aboim Ascensão, was chosen as the professional of the year 2018-2019 by the Rotary Club of Faro.
After a military career, Luís Villas-Boas dedicated 35 years of his life to volunteering in the safeguarding of children at risk. "He was contacted several times to exercise high political positions, everything was exchanged for his children", emphasize the Farense Rotarians.
The tribute took place at a dinner at the “Faz Gostos” Restaurant, in Faro, on the 15th, with the assistance of Rotarians from clubs in the Eastern Algarve.
