Moncarapachense, leader of the championship, returned to victories in the 17th round of the 1st District Division of the Algarve Football Association. The team now led by Bruno Saraiva went to Guia's ground and won by clear 0-3.
However, the pursuers did not lose ground to the first place, as Immortal won a painful victory, at home, against Messinense (2-1), while Esperança de Lagos received and beat Lusitano VRSA by 3- 1.
11 Esperanças, who have a game in hand, also won and keeps pressure on the third-placed team.
In a game between neighbors, Silves, which aims to reach the top half of the table, tied with Lagoa and is still 6 points behind the 6th place in the standings.
