As elections at ALFA – Free Association of Algarve Photographers, initially scheduled for 18 January, have been postponed to February 17th. The election will take place from 10:00 am to 19:00 pm.
According to the Board of the General Assembly, list B, led by Carla Brazão Mendes, "disputed the possibility of using voting electronically."
List A, led by Carlos Cruz, challenged, in turn, the short time until the date of the elections that did not allow members to «exercise their right to vote», in addition to the fact that there was no «useful time to send ballot papers to members" who wanted to "exercise their right by correspondence".
These were the reasons that led to the postponement of the elections. The inauguration General Assembly takes place on March 8, at 21 pm.
