Two men, both around 40 years old, died this morning in a collision between two cars, on the EN122, in the Lezíria area, in the municipality of Castro Marim.
Source of the District Relief Operations Command told the Sul Informação that the alert was given at 9:29 am and that, "in principle, it will have been a head-on collision".
In the relief operations, 25 workers are involved, supported by 9 vehicles. The INEM helicopter was also activated.
The EN122, which connects Castro Marim to Vila Real de Santo António, has been cut.
