The profession of criminologist was, this Friday, recognized by the Assembly of the Republic. The representatives of BE, CDS, PCP and PSD voted in favor of the bills that are now going to be approved in the specialty.
“The Portuguese Criminology Association (APC) is pleased with the creation of two bills, one in partnership with the BE and the other with the CDS-PP, which aim to fill the existing gap in the regulation of the criminologist profession. To date, there is a lack of recognition of criminologists and their need in society, a subject for which the APC has actively met with the various parliamentary groups and raised awareness of this issue”, said Vítor Miguel Silva President of the APC.
