The Municipality of Alcoutim will provide support of 3700 euros to the Alcoutenejo grouping of the Corpo Nacional de Escutas (CNE). The grant will help this institution to buy material and promote a set of activities until the end of the year.
One of the actions planned is the commemoration of 17 years of the Alcoutim Group 1107. The alcoutenejo eavesdroppers will also be present at the 13th edition of the ACAREG do Algarve, a regional camp that will bring together more than 1500 scouts from all over the Algarve.
CNE's Alcoutim Grouping nº 1107, founded on June 8, 1997, «currently has sixteen members who meet every Saturday (pioneers) and Mondays (lobitos), at 10:00 and 17:30, respectively, at the Centro de Arts and Crafts, in Alcoutim», according to the municipality.
