More than 100 students will participate this Tuesday, January 29, from 9:30 am, in the staging of a Human Periodic Table, to be held at the Figuras Leisure Park, next to Forum Algarve, in Faro.
The commemorations, which also mark the 150th anniversary of the first Periodic Table of Mendeleev's Chemical Elements, will count with the participation of more than a hundred students, from the 3rd Cycle of Basic and Secondary Education, from various schools in the district of Faro.
Each student will represent a chemical element and must find its position on the Periodic Table of Elements.
Students will also have the opportunity to attend a lecture on “Dmitri Mendeleev and the Periodic Table of the Elements in the XNUMXth century”.
Em Faro, the event, which takes place across the country, is organized by the University of Algarve, with the support of the City Council.
