“Acordes na Aldeia” by Santo Estêvão kicks off this Saturday with JP Simões

JP Simões will perform with guitarist Miguel Nicolau

JP Simões is the musician who will start the first edition of "Chords in the Village", a new cycle of concerts that will pass by the Casa do Povo of Santo Estêvão, in the municipality of Tavira. JP Simões' show is scheduled for next Saturday, January 26th, at 22 pm.

In this concert, JP Simões will share the stage with guitarist Miguel Nicolau, from “Memória de Peixe” and will revisit his entire long artistic career with special attention to the last work he edits.

Singer, composer, lyricist, short story writer and playwright, JP Simões has been editing albums since 1995, respectively with Pop Dell'Arte, Belle Chase Hotel, Quinteto Tati and solo or in collaboration with other composers. His last album in his own name, Roma, was released in 2013 and deserved a long national and international tour. And in 2016, he launched “Tremble Like a Flower”, under the pseudonym “Bloom”.

In 2018, he presented a new theme, “Alvoroço”, at the song festival, and returned to the road to present, from north to south, a show with a repertoire that cuts across different facets of his career.

«This winter's nights will get warmer to the sound of good music in the Barrocal of the municipality of Tavira», guarantees the Casa do Povo of Santo Estêvão.
