Vila Real de Santo António will have new water and sanitation services as of 1 January

The concessionary company will start the contract with a budget of more than 52 million euros

The concessionary company of the Aquapor Group, which won the international tender launched by the Vila Real de Santo António City Council for the concession of the municipality's waste water supply and sanitation services, starts operating on 1 January.

The concession company Águas de Vila Real de Santo António will start the contract on the first day of the year, with a budget of over 52 million euros.

As explained by Aquapor, in a note sent to Sul Informação, 46 million euros will revert to the municipality and 6,5 million euros will be invested in the renovation of the water supply and sanitation networks and in the reinforcement of attendance and control services.

This new company will have the experience of the Aquapor Group, the concessionaire's sole shareholder, which has operated in the market for 30 years and is present in 14 national and international concessions, with more than 1,3 million inhabitants covered.
