The duo Quim Roscas and Zeca Estacionâncio and Pedro Soares from Braga will open the first night of the Solrir humor festival, which will fill the concert hall at the Palácio de Congressos do Algarve, at Herdade dos Salgados (Albufeira). But the laughter will continue on the 29th, 30th of December and 1st of January, always at 21 pm.

In this 100% national comedy festival, this Friday at 21 pm, comedian and voice impersonator Pedro Soares takes to the stage, with a repertoire full of jokes and the most famous phrases of some public figures in our square. Then, with 30 shows, 2300 kilometers covered in 126.000 years of great laughter, the most famous comedian duo in Portugal – Quim Roscas (João Paulo Rodrigues) and Zeca Estacionâncio (Pedro Alves) – brings a hilarious spectacle for all ages.

Tomorrow, the 29th, Nilton returns to Solrir for another performance full of humor and good spirits. The comedian will share the stage with Rita Leitão (Piglet) and the CIRM Theater Group.

Rita is the only woman to act at the festival and is presenting “Meia Dose de Leitão”, a journey through the bittersweet of life, from the dilemmas of a Peter Pan in pig farming, to the dramas of the Third Age.

The amateur theater group from CIRM, from Mexilhoeira Grande, brings the magazine to the Algarve with the play “Hostel”. The seven artists on stage bring to life a scribble centered on typical Algarve expressions and characters.

On Sunday, December 30, Joca, Joel Santos and Zé Pedro form the “Tríade Comédia”, while João Didelet and António Machado present “Faz-te Homem”, a comedy made by two longtime friends, who decide to debate the role of the man in society and its ramifications with everything that surrounds him: swagger, cars, football, cups, beating, sissies versus bullshit, and, of course, women. The best way they found to approach the abominable world of man was to organize a “Conference of and for Males”.

The festival ends on the first night of the year with Fernando Mendes in a solo performance in the show “Insónia”, in which he plays in the person of Custódio Reis, a wine and fortified seller, who lives with a rope around his neck, both financially and in family. . It is the common middle class Portuguese, drowning in debts and credits.
