MED and Festival F nominated for 7 categories of the Iberian Festival Awards

Public can vote until January 31, 2019

The MED, from Loulé, and the Festival F, from Faro, are nominated for seven categories of the Iberian Festival Awards, whose winners will be announced on March 13, in Vigo. 

But this year there are more nominees from the Algarve: the BPM Festival, which took place in the municipalities of Lagoa and Portimão, is nominated for five categories: Best Tourism Promotion, Best Alignment, Best Communication, Best Infrastructure and Best Contribution to Sustainability.

There are two more newcomers: Fatacil, from Lagoa, which is nominated for Best Festivity, a new category created this year. And finally, the Algarvian Diogo Piçarra, who is nominated for Best Performance at the Festival VILA, in Lousada.

Best Medium Dimension Festival, Best Tourism Promotion, Best Alignment, Best Cultural Program, Contribution to Sustainability, Best Performance (Portugal/Spain or International) for Bonga and Best Lusophone and Hispanic Festival are the categories in which MED is nominated. 

As for Festival F, it is nominated for Best Large Dimension Festival, Best Tourist Promotion, Best Alignment, Best Cultural Program, Best Communication, Best Performance (Portugal/Spain or International) for Legendary Tigerman and Best Lusophone and Hispanic Festival.

The public will be able to vote here to select the finalists, until January 31, 2019.

The winners of the 4th edition of the Iberian Festival Awards will be known on March 13, at Teatro Afundación, in Vigo, in a gala comprising 22 categories and an award for excellence, which will recognize both the events and agents of the festival industry in music from Portugal and Spain.

The Iberian Festival Awards aim to distinguish the best festivals that take place in Portugal and Spain.
