On the 48th, 11 professionals received their diplomas, which certify the training received at the Qualifica de Faro and Albufeira from the Employment and Vocational Training Center of Faro.
School diplomas at Basic, Secondary and Professional level were awarded for the Installation Electrician, Civil Locksmith, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Electromechanic, Administrative Technician, Aesthetic, Chef and Geriatrics Agent.
The ceremony was presided over by Madalena Feu, IEFP's regional delegate for the Algarve, and was also attended by the director of the Employment and Vocational Training Center of Faro, Fátima Cortes, and the coordinator of the Qualifica Center, Paula Marujo, who closed the event.
The IEFP regional delegate congratulated all the candidates present for their commitment to developing the RVCC process (Recognition, Validation and Certification of Skills) and underlined that the commitment of the candidates and team, reflected in the results obtained, is a source of pride for the institution .
Employers, with workers present, such as Santa Casa da Misericórdia of São Brás de Alportel, represented by its Ombudsman Júlio Pereira, gave their testimony about the process.
The trainees and trainers also made an assessment of this functioning which, in their view, is very positive and with evident added value for the professional progression of the graduates.
After the award ceremony, the coordinator of the Qualifica Center of the Employment and Professional Training Center of Faro, Paula Marujo, took the floor at the end of the session, where she focused on the commitment not only of the Coaches in Guidance, Recognition and Validation of Skills, but also of the trainers at school and professional level.
The Qualifica Centers are centers specialized in adult qualification, aimed at providing information, advising and referring to offers of education and professional training for adults, also ensuring the recognition, validation and certification of school and/or professional skills, based on the premise It is essential to value the learning acquired throughout life, in formal and/or informal contexts.
Therefore, they aim to continue the course of academic and/or professional qualification for a better integration or progression in the labor market, based on experiences and those acquired throughout their life course.
The Qualifica Centers of the IEFP work together with the Employment and Vocational Training Centres. In addition to the IEFP, some Secondary Schools and other Training Entities also have Centers of this nature.
