Sounds from Gonçalo Pescada's accordion «composers as distinguished as Bach or Piazolla will sing»

The accordionist Gonçalo Pescada is the guest at the closing concert of another edition of the DiVaM program to be held this Saturday, December 15, at 16 pm, at the Chapel of Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe, in Raposeira (Vila do Bispo).

In the recital “Sacrum Promontory – Music and History of the End of the World”, the sounds of Gonçalo Pescada's accordion “will sing composers as distinguished as Bach or Piazolla”.

«The project seeks to follow a small part of the historical path in the footsteps of Infante D. Henrique in the western Algarve, evoking memories associated with the places, recalling their dimension as a physical heritage space and as a reflection of the common historical memory, associating to it a musical nature that intends to exalt and commemorate this memory», says the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve.

This is an initiative organized by the Academy of Music of Lagos for DiVaM – Dynamization and Valorization of Monuments – cultural program organized by Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve and it also has the support of the Vila do Bispo Chamber.
