The third edition of the Jornadas do Arade will take place between the 8th and the 10th of March, at the Museu de Portimão

The call for the presentation of posters during the Jornadas do Arade is open until the next 31st of January, announced the association Teia d'Impulsos.

The third edition of the Jornadas do Arade will take place between the 8th and the 10th of March, at the Museu de Portimão. It is “a space for dialogue and problematization about the present and future of the four municipalities of the Arade Basin: Portimão, Lagoa, Monchique and Silves”. This is a space open to the entire community and that counts on your participation to enrich this debate.

The proposals must be included in the general scope of the Conference, that is, the municipalities of the Arade Basin, and fall into one of the following areas or others at the applicant's discretion: entrepreneurship, tourism, agriculture and industry, historical and cultural heritage, ecology and environment, science and technology, urbanism, citizenship and associations, education, etc.

Submission is only done electronically, by filling out the form available on the Jornadas do Arade website (http://jornadasdoarade.pt).

All submitted proposals will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee of Jornadas do Arade, which will decide on the works that will be presented during the initiative, in poster format.

The Jornadas do Arade is an initiative of the Teia d'Impulsos Association, as part of the CAIC project – Active Citizenship and Civic Intervention, which aims to approach and debate on diverse and cross-cutting themes aimed at promoting sustainable socio-economic development and the dissemination of cultural and human heritage of the municipalities of Portimão, Lagoa, Silves and Monchique.

Conferences, short courses and workshops, debates, free communications and roundtables will embody the third edition of Jornadas do Arade.
